Rules

We want to make sure everything runs as smoothly as possible, and to keep this a SUPER safe environment for all of our Anime Ravers. Please read the following:

GOLDEN RULE: IF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT ANYTHING, PLEASE CONTACT THE VENUE WHERE THE EVENT IS BEING HOSTED.

1. FOLLOW @TouchGrassEnt on INSTAGRAM to make sure you’re updated on the event.
2. WEAPONS POLICY: NO WEAPONS OR PROP WEAPONS ARE ALLOWED. If you are coming straight from Comicon, there will be a coat check to potentially store prop weapons. We are not responsible if the venue confiscates any of your belongings (the venue is pretty good with holding onto things and giving them back, but only YOU can be the final judge of whether you want to leave your stuff with security/coatcheck or not).
3. COSPLAY IS NOT CONSENT: Please keep your hands to yourself. If you would like to take a picture with/of someone, ASK FIRST and respect that person’s answer. While at a #WeTouchGrass event, be respectful; be nice; be cool; and be kind to each other. IF YOU EXPERIENCE ANY HARASSMENT, please tell security, the DJs, a featured cosplayer…and we will keep you safe and have that person removed from the event.
4. BRING YOUR HORIZONTAL PHYSICAL ID – The venue may not allow you into the venue without a physical horizontal ID. Passports and Driver’s Licenses are always accepted – if you are bringing any other form of ID, please double check with the venue through email if they accept that form of ID.

6. ENTRY: Entry is based on the discretion of our venues’ security – if they deem that it is unsafe for you to enter the facility, you will be denied entry. Reasons you may be denied include, but are not limited to: intoxication, unsafe dress code, consumption of substances prior to the event, erratic/unreasonable behavior, lack of physical ID. All bags and purses are subject to bag checks.
7. FOOD/DRINK: No outside food or drinks; No containers, empty or otherwise
8. IN-AND-OUT: Depending on the venue, security reasons may preclude the venue from allowing in/out privileges to individuals who choose to leave the building. Exceptions can be made in special circumstances by a security supervisor at the event.
9. PROHIBITED ITEMS: Professional Cameras, DSLR’s, Video Cameras, Laptops, iPads are not permitted on site unless you have pre-approved accreditation. The venues may not store these devices for you and may not be able to coat check prohibited items. Water Bottles, satchels, man bags, pouches, fanny packs, weapons of any kind, Gang Colours and Gang Apparel are strictly prohibited. Marijuana consumption and possession within the venue will follow the legal guidelines set out by the territory’s government.

Prescription drug policy: We are a drug free zone; however if you or someone in your party requires to carry a prescription drug with them we will allow under these circumstances. All drugs must be in the original prescription drug container, the name on the container MUST match the ID of the person carrying it. No pill organizers, or alternative pill cases will be allowed. If your item contains needles, or is for emergencies i.e. Epi Pen, this will be made known to the manager on duty. This is not meant to embarrass anyone but simply to provide knowledge to our staff in case of emergency.

Accessibility: Most of the venues we work with are fully accessible to person(s) with disabilities. All policies on service animals and support persons are available upon request. The Feedback process is accessible to persons with disabilities providing, or arranging for the provisions of, accessible formats and communication supports, on request. Ejection: All venues reserve the right to eject attendees based on the security’s discretion.

Refunds: All tickets are final sale and non-refundable.
